Petua 1.1

Adakah anda sudah menulis langkah semalam? Kalau sudah, bagus. Kalau belum, lakukan sekarang. Walaupun langkah ini nampak terlalu mudah atau kelihatan tidak penting, saya tidak dapat gambarkan betapa hebatnya teknik ini untuk kita mencapai sebarang cita-cita.

Untuk mencapai kecemerlangan akademik, anda perlu menulis matlamat pencapaian akademik anda. Bagaimana jika anda tidak tahu dan tidak pasti apa yang anda mahu capai? Hmmm…ada beberapa kemungkinan mengapa anda tidak tahu apa yang anda mahu capai.

Anda tidak pernah fikirkan perkara ini. Anda pergi ke sekolah, kolej atau universiti hanya kerana itulah yang anda sudah biasa lakukan.
Anda mungkin tidak ada rujukan. Mungkin kawan-kawan, ahli keluarga anda atau saudara mara anda tidak pernah bercerita tentang apa yang ingin dicapai dalam bidang akademik. Jadi anda pun tidak fikirkan mengenainya.
Anda mungkin takut hendak memikirkan apa yang bakal anda dapat. Ini mungkin sebab utama. Disebabkan anda mungkin belum cemerlang sekarang, anda takut untuk memikirkan apa yang bakal anda perolehi.

Jangan bimbang jika anda masih belum pasti. Mulai hari ini, fikirkan setiap hari apa yang ingin anda capai. Satu cara untuk lakukannya ialah, jangan fikirkan tentang halangan atau kelemahan. Contohnya, “aku nak gred A subjek Sains, tapi selama ni aku asyik dapat gred E je. Mana boleh dapat A kalau macam ni.” Anda cuma perlu fikirkan begini, “Kalau tidak ada halangan untuk capai apa sahaja gred yang aku nak, gred apa yang aku nak pilih agaknya?”

Saya telah sediakan satu ruangan untuk anda isikan dibawah. Untuk setiap subjek, anda perlu isikan gred sekarang (gred yang biasa anda dapat dalam peperiksaan), dan gred serta markah yang anda mahu dapat dalam peperiksaan sebenar. (80 markah gred A, 100 markah juga gred A. Tetapi kalau anda mahu dapat gred A dengan 100 markah, usaha anda pasti berbeza). Ini adalah contoh sahaja. Senaraikan juga subjek anda yang tidak tersenarai di bawah.

Setelah anda isi jadual ini, kita boleh mula bincangkan tentang petua kedua, esok. Selamat menulis.

p/s Jangan lupa tulis sebab mengapa anda mahu capai gred tersebut dan apa anda akan benar-benar rasa kalau betul dapat capai gred tersebut.
